He narrated from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Whoever dislikes something from his ruler should be patient, for no one departs from the authority even by a hand's span and then dies, except that he dies the death of the days of ignorance."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا سعيد بن زيد حدثنا الجعد أبو عثمان حدثني أبو رجاء العطاردي يرويه
يرويه عن النبي ﷺ قال أيما رجل كره من أميره أمرا فليصبر فإنه ليس أحد من الناس يخرج من السلطان شبرا فمات إلا مات ميتة جاهلية
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Kamil is Muzaffar bin Mudrik Khurasani. Saeed bin Zayd bin Dirham is trustworthy, though some criticized him, and Ibn Main, Ibn Saad, Ajli, and others deemed him trustworthy. Bukhari gave his biography in al-Kabir 2/1/432 and said, Muslim [meaning Ibn Ibrahim] said, "Saeed bin Zayd Abu Hasan narrated to us, he is truthful and has a retentive memory." The hadith is a repeat of 2487 and 2702.
