Ibn Abbas was on this pulpit saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to seek refuge after every prayer from four things, saying, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from trials, both apparent and hidden. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the trial of the one-eyed liar."
حدثنا يحيى بن إسحاق حدثنا البراء بن عبد الله الغنوي من أنفسهم قال سمعت
كان ابن عباس على هذا المنبر يقول كان رسول الله ﷺ يتعوذ دبر كل صلاة من أربع يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب القبر اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عذاب النار اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الفتن ما ظهر منها وما بطن اللهم إني أعوذ بك من فتنة الأعور الكذاب
