He saw Abdullah bin Harith praying with his hair tied up in a knot behind his head, so he stood behind him and began to undo it. The other man let him do so, then turned to Ibn Abbas and asked, "What business do you have with my head?"Ibn Abbas replied, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The likeness of one who prays like this is the likeness of one who prays with his hands tied behind his back.'"
حدثنا يحيى بن غيلان حدثنا رشدين حدثني عمرو بن الحارث عن بكير بن الأشج عن كريب
أنه رأى عبد الله بن الحارث يصلي ورأسه معقوص من ورائه فقام وراءه وجعل يحله وأقر له الآخر ثم أقبل إلى ابن عباس فقال ما لك ورأسي قال إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إنما مثل هذا كمثل الذي يصلي وهو مكتوف
