He was asked about this verse, "For them is good news in the worldly life and in the Hereafter" [Yunus 10:64].He replied, "You have asked about something no one has asked about, as far as I have heard, since a man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He said, 'It is the righteous dream that a Muslim sees or that is seen for him. It is his good news in the worldly life, and his good news in the Hereafter is Paradise.'"
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن عطاء بن يسار عن رجل من أهل مصر
سئل عن هذه الآية {لهم البشرى في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة} فقال لقد سألت عن شيء ما سمعت أحدا سأل بعد رجل سأل عنه رسول الله ﷺ فقال هي الرؤيا الصالحة يراها الرجل المسلم أو ترى له بشراه في الحياة الدنيا وبشراه في الآخرة الجنة
