A piece of cheese was brought to the Prophet ﷺ during a military expedition. He asked, "Where was this made?"They replied, "In Persia, and we suspect that carrion may have been used in making it."He said, "Pierce it with a knife, mention the name of Allah, and eat."Sharik mentioned it another time and added that they began striking it with sticks.
حدثنا أسود حدثنا شريك عن جابر عن عكرمة
أتي النبي ﷺ بجبنة في غزاة فقال أين صنعت هذه فقالوا بفارس ونحن نرى أنه يجعل فيها ميتة فقال اطعنوا فيها بالسكين واذكروا اسم الله وكلوا ذكره شريك مرة أخرى فزاد فيه فجعلوا يضربونها بالعصي
