A man entered the mosque of Damascus and said, "Allah, comfort my loneliness, have mercy on my estrangement, and grant me a beloved, righteous companion."Abu Darda heard him and said, "If you are truthful, then I am more delighted with what you said than you are. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say regarding the verse 'Among them is one who wrongs himself' [Fatir 35:32], 'The one who wrongs himself is seized on the spot, and that is the worry and grief he experiences.' Regarding 'and among them is one who is moderate,' he said, 'He will be given an easy reckoning.' And regarding 'and among them is one who is foremost in good deeds by Allah's permission,' he said, 'Those are the ones who will enter Paradise without any reckoning.'"
