The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever removes something harmful from the path of the Muslims, Allah records a good deed for him on account of it, and whoever has a good deed recorded with Him, Allah admits him into Paradise through it."
حدثنا أبو المغيرة قال حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي مريم قال حدثني حميد بن عقبة بن رومان
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال من زحزح عن طريق المسلمين شيئا يؤذيهم كتب الله له به حسنة ومن كتب له عنده حسنة أدخله الله بها الجنة

Its chain of transmission is daif because of Ibn Abu Maryam, but the hadith is sahih. Bukhari narrated something similar in Adab al-Mufrad 593, and Haythami cited many corroborating narrations and declared them sahih. It is also supported by the hadith about removing harmful things from the road, which Bukhari narrated (5/118, no. 2472) and others as well, and it is well known.
