The Prophet ﷺ came in to her while she had a waterskin, and he drank from its mouth while standing.This hadith was read to him, meaning Sufyan, "I heard Yazid narrate from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Amra, from my grandmother, who was Kabsha."
حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة
إن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها وعندها قربة فشرب من فيها وهو قائم وقرئ عليه هذا الحديث يعني سفيان سمعت يزيد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي عمرة عن جدتي وهي كبيشة
Its isnad is sahih. This is how it appears in the original sources, but in Tahzib Kamal it reads, "Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir, from the Ansari," meaning Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Amra, and this is, in my view, the correct reading. It appears that the copyists dropped the word "from," because Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir was an Azdi from Damascus, originally from Basra, who settled in Syria, and I have not found anyone who said that he was Ansari. So this should be noted carefully. A similar hadith has already appeared at 26993.
