The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by Juwayriyah early in the morning while she was in the prayer place making supplication. He passed by her again around midday and said, "Are you still in the same state?"She replied, "Yes."He ﷺ said, "Shall I teach you words which, if weighed against what you have been saying, would equal them? Glory be to Allah by the number of His creation, glory be to Allah by the number of His creation, glory be to Allah by the number of His creation. Glory be to Allah to the extent of His own pleasure, glory be to Allah to the extent of His own pleasure, glory be to Allah to the extent of His own pleasure. Glory be to Allah by the weight of His Throne, glory be to Allah by the weight of His Throne, glory be to Allah by the weight of His Throne. Glory be to Allah by the ink of His words, glory be to Allah by the ink of His words, glory be to Allah by the ink of His words."Her name had been Barrah, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named her Juwayriyah.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن مولى آل طلحة قال سمعت كريبا يحدث عن ابن عباس
إن رسول الله ﷺ مر على جويرية بكرا وهي في المسجد تدعو ثم مر عليها قريبا من نصف النهار فقال ما زلت على حالك قالت نعم قال ﷺ ألا أعلمك كلمات تعدلهن بهن ولو وزن بهن وزن سبحان الله عدد خلقه سبحان الله عدد خلقه ثلاثا سبحان الله رضا نفسه سبحان الله رضا نفسه سبحان الله رضا نفسه سبحان الله زنة عرشه سبحان الله زنة عرشه سبحان الله زنة عرشه سبحان الله مداد كلماته سبحان الله مداد كلماته سبحان الله مداد كلماته وكان اسمها برة فسماها رسول الله ﷺ جويرية
