I asked him about the Duha prayer, and he said, "I asked the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it, but I could not find anyone who told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had prayed it, except that Umm Hani informed me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered her home and prayed eight rakahs. I have never seen him pray it before that occasion or after it."
حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد قال حدثني يزيد بن أبي زياد
سألته عن صلاة الضحى فقال سألت أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ عنها فلم أجد أحدا يخبرني أن رسول الله ﷺ صلاها إلا أن أم هانئ أخبرتني أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل عليها فصلى ثماني ركعات فلم أره صلى قبلها ولا بعدها
