Umm Hani bint Abu Talib reported, "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the Conquest and found him bathing while his daughter Fatimah was screening him with a garment. I greeted him."He asked, "Who is this?"I said, "It is Umm Hani bint Abu Talib."He said, "Welcome, Umm Hani."She continued, "When he finished his bath, he stood and prayed eight cycles, wrapped in a single garment. When he had finished, I said, 'Messenger of Allah, my mother's son claims he is going to kill a man I have given protection to, so-and-so the son of Hubayrah.'"He said, "We have granted protection to whomever you have granted protection, Umm Hani."Umm Hani said, "And that was in the forenoon."
حدثنا إسحاق قال أخبرني مالك عن أبي النضر أن أبا مرة مولى أم هانئ بنت أبي طالب أخبره أنه سمع
ذهبت إلى رسول الله ﷺ عام الفتح فوجدته يغتسل وفاطمة ابنته تستره بثوب قالت فسلمت فقال من هذه قال قالت أم هانئ بنت أبي طالب فقال مرحبا بأم هانئ قالت فلما فرغ من غسله قام فصلى ثماني ركعات ملتحفا في ثوب واحد ثم انصرف فقلت يا رسول الله زعم ابن أمي أنه قاتل رجلا أجرته فلان ابن هبيرة فقال قد أجرنا من أجرت يا أم هانئ فقالت أم هانئ وذاك ضحى
