Salma bint Qays reported,

I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ along with a group of women from the Ansar. Among the conditions he imposed upon us was that we not deceive our husbands.When we left, we said, "By Allah, if only we had asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ what constitutes deceiving our husbands."So we returned and asked him.He said, "That you favor someone or give gifts to another using his wealth without his permission."

حدثنا محمد بن عبيد الله قال حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق عن رجل من الأنصار

عن أمه سلمى بنت قيس قالت

بايعت رسول الله ﷺ في نسوة من الأنصار قالت كان فيما أخذ علينا أن لا تغشن أزواجكن قالت فلما انصرفنا قلنا والله لو سألنا رسول الله ﷺ ما غش أزواجنا قالت فرجعنا فسألناه قال أن تحابين أو تهادين بماله غيره
