I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ making the circuit between Safa and Marwa, with the people in front of him and he behind them. He was running so vigorously that I could see his knees, his lower garment whirling about him, and he was saying, "Run, for Allah has prescribed running upon you."

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يطوف بين الصفا والمروة والناس بين يديه وهو وراءهم وهو يسعى حتى أرى ركبتيه من شدة السعي يدور به إزاره وهو يقول اسعوا فإن الله كتب عليكم السعي
