I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a garden, and he asked, "Is this yours?"I said, "Yes."He asked, "Who planted it, a Muslim or an unbeliever?"I said, "A Muslim."He said, "There is no Muslim who sows a crop or plants a tree from which a bird, a human, a wild animal, or anything else eats, except that it counts as charity for him."Ubayy said, "The phrase 'I heard Jabir' was not in the copy," so Ibn Numayr said, "I heard Amir."
حدثنا ابن نمير قال حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي سفيان قال سمعت جابرا قال حدثتني
دخلت على رسول الله ﷺ في حائط فقال لك هذا فقلت نعم فقال من غرسه مسلم أو كافر قلت مسلم قال ما من مسلم يزرع أو يغرس غرسا فيأكل منه طائر أو إنسان أو سبع أو شيء إلا كان له صدقة قال أبي ولم يكن في النسخة سمعت جابرا فقال ابن نمير سمعت عامرا
