She informed him that she had been married to Abu Amr bin Hafs bin Mughira, and he pronounced upon her the last of three divorces. She claimed that she came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him for a ruling about leaving her house, and he instructed her to move to the house of Ibn Umm Maktum, the blind man.Marwan, however, refused to accept the report of Fatimah regarding a divorced woman leaving her house, and cast doubt upon it.Urwa said that Ayesha rejected this account of Fatimah.

أخبرته أنها كانت تحت أبي عمرو بن حفص بن المغيرة فطلقها آخر ثلاث تطليقات فزعمت أنها جاءت إلى النبي ﷺ فاستفتته في خروجها من بيتها فأمرها أن تنتقل إلى بيت ابن أم مكتوم الأعمى فأبى مروان إلا أن يتهم حديث فاطمة في خروج المطلقة من بيتها وزعم عروة قال قال فأنكرت ذلك عائشة على فاطمة
