My husband divorced me three times, so I came to the Prophet ﷺ. He did not grant me lodging or maintenance, and he said, "Lodging and maintenance are only for the woman whose husband still has the right to take her back." He instructed her to observe her waiting period at the home of Ibn Umm Maktum, the blind man.
حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان قال حدثنا مجالد عن الشعبي قال حدثتني
طلقني زوجي ثلاثا فأتيت النبي ﷺ فلم يجعل لي سكنى ولا نفقة وقال إنما السكنى والنفقة لمن كان لزوجها عليها رجعة وأمرها أن تعتد عند ابن أم مكتوم الأعمى
