When Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib came to Madinah, he married Khawla bint Qays bin Qahd al-Ansariyyah, of the tribe of Banu al-Najjar. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit Hamza at her house, and she would relate accounts about him ﷺ.She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us one day, and I said, 'Messenger of Allah, I have heard that you say you will have a basin on the Day of Resurrection stretching from such-and-such a place to such-and-such.'"He replied, "Yes, and the people I would most love to drink from it are your people."She said, "I then brought him a pot containing bread or a porridge of flour and fat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ put his hand into the pot to eat, and his fingers were burned. He said, 'Hot!' Then he said, 'The son of Adam, if cold strikes him, he says, "Hot!" and if heat strikes him, he says, "Hot!"'"
حدثنا حسين بن محمد قال حدثنا جرير يعني ابن حازم عن يحيى بن سعيد
أن حمزة بن عبد المطلب لما قدم المدينة تزوج خولة بنت قيس بن قهد الأنصارية من بني النجار قال وكان رسول الله ﷺ يزور حمزة في بيتها وكانت تحدثه عنه ﷺ أحاديث قالت جاءنا رسول الله ﷺ يوما فقلت يا رسول الله بلغني عنك أنك تحدث أن لك يوم القيامة حوضا ما بين كذا إلى كذا قال أجل وأحب الناس إلي أن يروى منه قومك قالت فقدمت إليه برمة فيها خبزة أو حريرة فوضع رسول الله ﷺ يده في البرمة ليأكل فاحترقت أصابعه فقال حس ثم قال ابن آدم إن أصابه البرد قال حس وإن أصابه الحر قال حس
