One of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ passed away, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us and said, "Wash her with water and lote leaves, and wash her an odd number of times, three, five, or more than that if you see fit. In the final wash, add camphor or a bit of camphor. When you have finished, let me know."She said, when we had finished, we informed him, peace and blessings be upon him. He handed us his waist-wrapper and said, "Wrap her in this next to her body."
حدثنا إسحاق بن يوسف الأزرق قال أخبرنا هشام عن حفصة
توفيت إحدى بنات النبي ﷺ فأتانا رسول الله ﷺ فقال اغسلنها بسدر واغسلنها وترا ثلاثا أو خمسا أو أكثر من ذلك إن رأيتن واجعلن في الآخرة كافورا أو شيئا من كافور فإذا فرغتن فآذنني قالت فلما فرغنا آذناه عليه الصلاة والسلام فألقى إلينا حقوه فقال أشعرنها إياه
