Marwan sent word to Umm Maqil al-Asadiyyah asking her about this hadith, and she told him that her husband had dedicated a young camel of hers for the cause of Allah. She wanted to perform Umrah, so she asked her husband for the camel, but he refused. She then went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned this to him, and he ordered her husband to give it to her.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Hajj and Umrah are part of the cause of Allah."He also said, "An Umrah during Ramadan equals a Hajj," or, "suffices for a Hajj."Hajjaj said, "It equals a Hajj," or, "suffices for a Hajj."
