I heard the Prophet ﷺ while he was standing at Arafah, wrapped in a cloak, saying, "Listen and obey, even if an Abyssinian slave is appointed over you, so long as he upholds the Book of Allah among you."
حدثنا وكيع عن يونس عن العيزار بن حريث
سمعت النبي ﷺ وهو واقف بعرفة وعليه بردة قد التفع بها وهو يقول اسمعوا وأطيعوا وإن أمر عليكم عبد حبشي ما أقام فيكم كتاب الله
