Muawiya bin Hudayj reported,

He was a Companion of the Prophet. He said, "Whoever washes a deceased person, shrouds him, follows his funeral procession, and takes charge of his body returns forgiven."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Ubayy said, "It is not a raised report."

وكانت له صحبة قال من غسل ميتا وكفنه وتبعه وولي جثته رجع مغفورا له قال أبو عبد الرحمن قال أبي ليس بمرفوع
