Abu Mahzura reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ assigned the call to prayer to us and to our freedmen, the providing of water to the pilgrims to Banu Hashim, and the custodianship of the Kaaba to Banu Abd al-Dar.

حدثنا خلف بن الوليد قال حدثنا هذيل بن بلال

عن ابن أبي محذورة عن أبيه أو عن جده قال

جعل رسول الله ﷺ الأذان لنا ولموالينا والسقاية لبني هاشم والحجابة لبني عبد الدار
