The messenger of Marwan, whom he had sent to Umm Maqil, reported that she said, "Abu Maqil came with the Prophet ﷺ for the pilgrimage. When Abu Maqil arrived, I said to him, 'You know that I owe a pilgrimage, and you have a young camel. Give it to me so I may perform the pilgrimage on it.'He said to her, 'You know that I have dedicated it to the cause of Allah.'She said, 'Then give me the produce of your date palms.'He said, 'You know that this is my family's sustenance.'She said, 'I will speak to the Prophet ﷺ and mention this to him.'"She continued, "So we set off walking until we entered his presence. I said to him, 'Messenger of Allah, I owe a pilgrimage, and Abu Maqil has a young camel.'Abu Maqil said, 'She speaks the truth. I have dedicated it to the cause of Allah.'The Prophet said, 'Give it to her so she may perform the pilgrimage on it, for that too is in the cause of Allah.'When he gave her the camel, she said, 'Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who has grown old and frail. Is there any deed that would suffice for me in place of my pilgrimage?'He replied, 'An umrah in Ramadan will suffice for your pilgrimage.'"

Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the unknown identity of Marwan's messenger. This hadith is like the one before it.
