Umm Umara bint Kaab reported,

The Prophet ﷺ visited her, and Some men from her people came to see her. She brought out dates for them, and they ate. One of the men kept apart from the food, so the Prophet ﷺ asked, "What is the matter with him?"They replied, "He is fasting."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, whenever a fasting person is present while others eat in his company, the angels send blessings upon him until they finish."

حدثنا أسود بن عامر قال حدثنا شريك عن حبيب بن زيد عن مولاتهم ليلى

عن عمته أم عمارة

أن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها قال وثاب إليها رجال من قومها قال فقدمت إليهم تمرا فأكلوا فتنحى رجل منهم فقال النبي ﷺ ما شأنه فقال إني صائم فقال رسول الله ﷺ أما إنه ما من صائم يأكل عنده فواطر إلا صلت عليه الملائكة حتى يقوموا
