Umayma bint Raqiqa reported,

I gave my pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ along with a group of women. He instructed us to pledge to whatever we were able and capable of doing.I said, "Allah and His Messenger are more merciful toward us than we are toward ourselves."Then I said, "Messenger of Allah, take our pledge."He replied, "I do not shake hands with women. My word to one woman is the same as my word to a hundred women."

حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة قال سمع ابن المنكدر

أميمة بنت رقيقة تقول

بايعت رسول الله ﷺ في نسوة فلقننا فيما استطعتن وأطقتن قلت الله ورسوله أرحم منا من أنفسنا قلت يا رسول الله بايعنا قال إني لا أصافح النساء إنما قولي لامرأة قولي لمائة امرأة
