She came carrying a son of hers whose throat she had pressed up to relieve him from a swelling of the uvula. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Why do you afflict your children by pressing their throats like this? You should use this Indian wood, for it contains seven cures, among them a remedy for pleurisy."Then he took the boy, and the child urinated on him. He called for water and sprinkled it over the spot.Ibn Shihab said, "The Sunnah has been established accordingly."
قال حدثنا محمد بن جعفر وقال حدثنا معمر قال حدثنا الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عتبة بن مسعود
أنها جاءت بابن لها وقد أعلقت عليه من العذرة فقال لها رسول الله ﷺ علام تدغرن أولادكن بهذه العلق عليكن بهذا العود الهندي فإن فيه سبعة أشفية منها ذات الجنب ثم أخذ الصبي فبال عليه فدعا بماء فنضحه قال ابن شهاب مضت السنة بذلك
