I used to serve Zubayr, my husband. He had a horse that I tended to, and nothing in my service was harder on me than caring for that horse. I would gather grass for it, look after it, tend to it, and crush date pits for its feed.Then she received a servant whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had given her. She said, "The servant relieved me of caring for the horse and took that burden off me."

كنت أخدم الزبير زوجها وكان له فرس كنت أسوسه ولم يكن شيء من الخدمة أشد علي من سياسة الفرس فكنت أحتش له وأقوم عليه وأسوسه وأرضخ له النوى قال ثم إنها أصابت خادما أعطاها رسول الله ﷺ قالت فكفتني سياسة الفرس فألقت عني مئونته
