Abdullah bin Zubayr said, "Perform Hajj alone and disregard what this man says," meaning Ibn Abbas.Ibn Abbas replied, "Why don't you ask your mother about this?"So he sent to her, and she said, "Ibn Abbas has spoken the truth. We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as pilgrims, then he commanded us, so we made it an Umra. We were released into the state of being unrestricted, until the incense burners were rising between the women and the men."
حدثنا محمد بن فضيل قال حدثنا يزيد يعني ابن أبي زياد
قال عبد الله بن الزبير أفردوا بالحج ودعوا قول هذا يعني ابن عباس فقال ابن العباس ألا تسأل أمك عن هذا فأرسل إليها فقالت صدق ابن عباس خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ حجاجا فأمرنا فجعلناها عمرة فحل لنا الحلال حتى سطعت المجامر بين النساء والرجال
