I used to hear the Prophet's ﷺ recitation at night while I was on my roof.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا مسعر عن أبي العلاء العبدي عن يحيى بن جعدة
كنت أسمع قراءة النبي ﷺ بالليل وأنا على عريشي
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ala Abdi is Hilal bin Khabab, and Yahya bin Jadah is the Makhzumi, and both of them are trustworthy, their hadith being found in the collections of the four. This hadith has already appeared at 26774.
