Safiya bint Huyay reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in spiritual retreat at the mosque, so I came to visit him at night. I spoke with him for a while, then I got up to leave, and he stood up to walk me back. My residence was in the house of Usama bin Zayd.Two men from the Ansar passed by, and when they saw the Prophet ﷺ, they hurried along. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Take your time. This is Safiya bint Huyayy."They exclaimed, "Glory be to Allah, Messenger of Allah!"He said, "Satan flows through a person like the flow of blood, and I feared that he might cast some evil," or he said, "something into your hearts."

عن صفية بنت حيي قالت

كان رسول الله ﷺ معتكفا فأتيته أزوره ليلا فحدثته ثم قمت فانقلبت فقام معي يقلبني وكان مسكنها في دار أسامة بن زيد فمر رجلان من الأنصار فلما رأيا النبي ﷺ أسرعا فقال النبي ﷺ على رسلكما إنها صفية بنت حيي فقالا سبحان الله يا رسول الله فقال إن الشيطان يجري من الإنسان مجرى الدم وإني خشيت أن يقذف في قلوبكما شرا أو قال شيئا
