Umar bin Ishaq bin Yasar reported,

I read in a book belonging to Ata bin Yasar, in his presence, that he said, "I asked Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, about wiping over leather socks."She said, "I asked, 'Messenger of Allah, may a person wipe over leather socks at any time without removing them?'He replied, 'Yes.'"

قرأت في كتاب لعطاء بن يسار مع عطاء بن يسار قال فسألت ميمونة زوج النبي عن المسح على الخفين قالت قلت يا رسول الله أكل ساعة يمسح الإنسان على الخفين ولا ينزعهما قال نعم
