The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be cautious about narrating from me except what you know with certainty, for whoever lies about me deliberately, let him take his seat in the Fire."
حدثنا حسن أنبأنا أبو عوانة الوضاح عن عبد الأعلى الثعلبي عن سعيد بن جبير
قال رسول الله ﷺ اتقوا الحديث عني إلا ما علمتم فإنه من كذب علي متعمدا فليتبوأ مقعده من النار
Its chain of transmission is daif due to the weakness of Abdul-Ala Thalabi. This hadith is in Majma al-Zawaid 1:146-147, attributed only to Tabarani in al-Kabir, and its defect is identified as Abdul-Ala. See also 1413, 1428, 2976.
