The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you eats food, let him not wipe his hand until he licks it himself or has it licked."Abu Zubayr said, "I heard Jabir bin Abdullah say that. I heard it from the Prophet ﷺ. And let him not lift up the plate until he licks it clean or has it licked clean, for the last portion of the food contains blessing."
حدثنا عبد الله بن الحارث عن ابن جريج قال أخبرني عطاء أنه سمع
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أكل أحدكم من الطعام فلا يمسح يده حتى يلعقها أو يلعقها قال أبو الزبير سمعت جابر بن عبد الله يقول ذلك سمعته من النبي ﷺ ولا يرفع الصحفة حتى يلعقها أو يلعقها فإن آخر الطعام فيه البركة
