While I was lying with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ under a woolen blanket, my menses came. I slipped away and put on the clothes I wore during menstruation.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked me, "Have your menses begun?"I replied, "Yes."He then called me back, and I lay down with him under the blanket. She and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the major ritual washing from a single vessel after sexual relations, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would kiss her while he was fasting.Abu Abdul-Rahman said, Hudbah narrated this to us, saying, Abban bin Yazid al-Attar narrated to us from Yahya bin Abu Kathir with the same chain of this hadith and its meaning.
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو وعبد الصمد قالا حدثنا هشام عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة عن زينب بنت أم سلمة
بينا أنا مضطجعة مع رسول الله ﷺ في الخميلة إذ حضت فانسللت فأخذت ثياب حيضتي فقال لي رسول الله ﷺ أنفست قلت نعم فدعاني فاضطجعت معه في الخميلة وكانت هي ورسول الله ﷺ يغتسلان من الإناء الواحد من الجنابة وكان رسول الله ﷺ يقبلها وهو صائم قال أبو عبد الرحمن حدثناه هدبة قال حدثنا أبان بن يزيد العطار عن يحيى بن أبي كثير بإسناد هذا الحديث ومعناه
