Talha bin Yahya reported,

Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba claimed to me that Muawiya sent a message to Ayesha asking her whether the Prophet ﷺ had ever prayed anything after the Asr prayer.She replied, "Not in my presence, but Umm Salama informed me that he did so."So he sent word, "Then send to her and ask her."He sent a message to Umm Salama, and she said, "Yes, he came in to me after Asr and prayed two units."I asked, "Prophet of Allah, was something revealed to you concerning these two units?"He answered, "No, but I had prayed Zuhr and was then occupied, so I made them up after Asr."

زعم لي عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة أن معاوية أرسل إلى عائشة يسألها هل صلى النبي ﷺ بعد العصر شيئا قالت أما عندي فلا ولكن أم سلمة أخبرتني أنه فعل ذلك فأرسل إليها فاسألها فأرسل إلى أم سلمة فقالت نعم دخل علي بعد العصر فصلى سجدتين قلت يا نبي الله أنزل عليك في هاتين السجدتين قال لا ولكن صليت الظهر فشغلت فاستدركتها بعد العصر
