Abdul-Rahman bin Awf came to visit Umm Salama, and she said to him, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There are some among my companions who will not see me after I depart from them.'"He went to Umar and mentioned this to him. Umar then came to her and asked, "I adjure you by Allah, am I one of them?"She replied, "By Allah, no, and I will never absolve anyone after you."

دخل عبد الرحمن بن عوف على أم سلمة فقالت له إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن من أصحابي من لا يراني بعد أن يفارقني قال فأتى عمر فذكر ذلك له قال فأتاها عمر فقال أذكرك الله أمنهم أنا قالت اللهم لا ولن أبلي أحدا بعدك
