Umm Sulaym asked the Prophet ﷺ, "Messenger of Allah, Allah is not shy of the truth. Must a woman perform the ritual bath if she has a wet dream?"He replied, "Yes, if she sees the fluid."
حدثنا عباد بن عباد المهلبي عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن زينب بنت أم سلمة
أن أم سليم سألت النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله إن الله لا يستحيي من الحق هل على المرأة غسل إذا احتلمت قال نعم إذا رأت الماء
Its isnad is sahih. Abbad bin Abbad al-Muhallabi, so named after Muhallab bin Abu Sufrah, is trustworthy, and his hadith appears in the collections of the group. The hadith was mentioned previously at 26383.
