The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who drinks from a vessel of silver is only causing the fire of Hell to rumble in his belly."
حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا يزيد بن زريع حدثنا أيوب عن نافع عن زيد بن عبد الله عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن الذي يشرب في إناء من فضة إنما يجرجر في بطنه نار جهنم
Its isnad is sahih. Zayd bin Abdullah is Ibn Umar, Nafi is the freed slave of Ibn Umar, and Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman is Ibn Abu Bakr. This hadith has preceded with similar wording. It appears here in Bukhari 10/96, no. 5634, in the Book of Drinks, and in Muslim 3/1634, no. 2065.
