She sought a ruling from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concerning a woman who experiences continuous bleeding. He said, "Let her count the number of nights and days during which she used to menstruate each month, and let her abstain from prayer for that period. Then let her perform a full bath, fasten a cloth securely, and pray."
