One of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, and I do not know her to be anyone other than Hafsah, was asked about the recitation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She replied, "You would not be able to manage it." Then she recited, "All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful" [Fatihah 1:2–3], meaning that he recited it slowly and distinctly.
