The Prophet ﷺ came in to visit her, and with her was a woman called Shifa who used to recite a healing incantation for skin sores. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Teach it to Hafsah."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن محمد بن المنكدر عن أبي بكر بن سليمان
أن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها وعندها امرأة يقال لها شفاء ترقي من النملة فقال النبي ﷺ علميها حفصة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Bakr bin Sulayman is Ibn Hathmah Adawi, and he is trustworthy, his hadith appearing in the Sahihayn. The Shifa mentioned in the hadith is the sister of Abdul-Rahman bin Awf.The hadith was narrated by Tabarani in Al-Kabir 23/217, no. 399, and by Tahawi in Sharh Maani 4/227. Haythami attributed it to Ahmad and Tabarani, and said, "Its narrators are the narrators of the sahih."
