When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded his wives to exit their state of consecration by performing Umra, they asked, "What prevents you, Messenger of Allah, from exiting consecration along with us?"He replied, "I have brought along the sacrificial animal and matted my hair, so I will not exit consecration until I have slaughtered my sacrifice."Yaqub said in the Book of Hajj, "until I slaughter my sacrifice."
