When dawn broke, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray only two brief units of prayer.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن زيد بن محمد قال سمعت نافعا يحدث عن ابن عمر
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا طلع الفجر لا يصلي إلا ركعتين خفيفتين
Its isnad is sahih. Zayd bin Muhammad is Ibn Zayd bin Abdullah bin Umar bin Khattab, and the hadith has already appeared at 26311.
