The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to visit me and ate a piece of meat from a bone. Then Bilal came with the call to prayer, so he stood up to pray. I took hold of his garment and said, "Father, will you not perform ablution?"He said, "What should I perform ablution from, my dear daughter?"I said, "From what fire has touched."He replied to me, "Is not the best of your food that which fire has touched?"

دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فأكل عرقا فجاء بلال بالأذان فقام ليصلي فأخذت بثوبه فقلت يا أبه ألا تتوضأ فقال مم أتوضأ يا بنية فقلت مما مست النار فقال لي أوليس أطيب طعامكم ما مسته النار
