The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me after Khadijah passed away, two or three years before his departure to Medina, when I was seven years old. When we arrived in Medina, some women came to me while I was playing on a swing with my hair in tufts. They took me away, prepared me, and adorned me, then brought me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he consummated the marriage with me when I was nine years old.
حدثنا حسن بن موسى قال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
تزوجني رسول الله ﷺ متوفى خديجة قبل مخرجه إلى المدينة بسنتين أو ثلاث وأنا بنت سبع سنين فلما قدمنا المدينة جاءتني نسوة وأنا ألعب في أرجوحة وأنا مجممة فذهبن بي فهيأنني وصنعنني ثم أتين بي رسول الله ﷺ فبنى بي وأنا بنت تسع سنين
