I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "No Muslim is pricked by a thorn or anything greater than that without Allah raising him by it one degree and erasing one of his sins."
حدثنا الوليد بن القاسم بن الوليد قال حدثنا إسرائيل عن منصور عن الأسود
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ما من مسلم يشاك شوكة فما فوقها إلا رفعه الله بها درجة وحط عنه بها خطيئة
