Whoever finds the time of prayer arriving while in a state of major impurity should not fast that day.I mentioned this to Ayesha, and she said, "He is saying nothing of substance. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up among us in a state of major impurity, then he would rise and bathe, and Bilal would come to call him to the prayer. He would go out and lead the people in prayer with water still trickling down his skin, and then he would continue fasting for the rest of that day."
