Ayesha reported,

Safiyya sent some food she had prepared to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was with me. When I saw the Jariya bringing it, I was overcome with such trembling that I shook uncontrollably, and I struck the bowl and threw it down.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at me, and I recognized anger in his face. I said, "I seek refuge with the Messenger of Allah from his cursing me today."He said, "It serves you right."I asked, "What is the expiation for it, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Food like her food and a vessel like her vessel."

بعثت صفية إلى رسول الله ﷺ بطعام قد صنعته له وهو عندي فلما رأيت الجارية أخذتني رعدة حتى استقلني أفكل فضربت القصعة فرميت بها قالت فنظر إلي رسول الله ﷺ فعرفت الغضب في وجهه فقلت أعوذ برسول الله أن يلعنني اليوم قالت قال أولى قالت قلت وما كفارته يا رسول الله قال طعام كطعامها وإناء كإنائها
