We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ thinking only of performing Hajj. When we arrived, the people performed tawaf, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let anyone who has not brought a sacrificial animal exit the state of ihram."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ himself had brought a sacrificial animal. I was menstruating and was unable to perform tawaf. On the night of Hasbah, I said, "Messenger of Allah, your other wives are returning having performed both Hajj and Umrah, while I am returning with only Hajj."He said to me, "Go with your brother Abdul-Rahman to Tanim, and our meeting place will be such-and-such."I met him at night while he was either descending or ascending.The daughter of Huyayy said, "I think I am going to delay you all."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "May you be wounded and shaven-headed. I think you are going to delay us. Did you not perform tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice?"She replied, "Yes."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to her, "Then depart."
حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن منصور بن المعتمر عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ ولا نرى إلا أنه الحج قالت فلما قدمنا طافوا فقال رسول الله ﷺ ليحل من لم يكن معه هدي قالت وكان رسول الله ﷺ معه هدي قالت وكنت حائضا فلم أستطع أن أطوف فلما كانت ليلة الحصبة قلت يا رسول الله يرجع نساؤك بحجة وعمرة وأنا أرجع بحجة فقال لي انطلقي مع أخيك عبد الرحمن إلى التنعيم ثم ميعاد ما بيني وبينك كذا وكذا قالت فلقيته بليل وهو مهبط أو مصعد قالت وقالت بنت حيي ما أراني إلا حابستكم فقال لها رسول الله ﷺ عقرى حلقى ما أراني إلا حابستكم أليس قد طفت يوم النحر قالت بلى فقال لها رسول الله ﷺ فانفري
