I went out with the Prophet ﷺ on one of his journeys when I was a young Jariya who had not yet put on flesh or grown stout. He said to the people, "Go on ahead," so they went ahead. Then he said to me, "Come, let me race you." So I raced him and beat him. He said nothing about it.Later, after I had put on weight and grown stout and had forgotten the matter, I went out with him on another journey. He said to the people, "Go on ahead," so they went ahead. Then he said, "Come, let me race you." So I raced him, and this time he beat me. He began to laugh and said, "This one for that one."
حدثنا عمر أبو حفص المعيطي قال حدثنا هشام عن أبيه
خرجت مع النبي ﷺ في بعض أسفاره وأنا جارية لم أحمل اللحم ولم أبدن فقال للناس تقدموا فتقدموا ثم قال لي تعالي حتى أسابقك فسابقته فسبقته فسكت عني حتى إذا حملت اللحم وبدنت ونسيت خرجت معه في بعض أسفاره فقال للناس تقدموا فتقدموا ثم قال تعالي حتى أسابقك فسابقته فسبقني فجعل يضحك وهو يقول هذه بتلك
